Is there a way to import in Delivery dates into ShipStation? We ship gifts and customer always has a certain delivery date they want it.

Printing First Class postage on an envelope

Hi all,

I searched the forums, but couldn't find an answer. How can I print on a regular size envelope (#10)? ShipStation gives me a formatted envelope with address, return address and postage - but it always wants to print as 4x6! It prints out looking awful - all centered in the middle of the envelope with a few inches of blank space on either side. I tried changing the settings, but it's either 4x6 or 8.5x11, and 8.5x11 doesn't work at all.

Any ideas? Thank you!

USPS Puerto Rico Order Failed Shipment Errors

We are having errors with USPS orders with delivery addresses in Puerto Rico, where the customer is allowed to enter "Puerto Rico"(fully typed out) into either the State(instead of "PR") or Country(instead of "United States" for USPS shipments) field, causing the shipments to fail.

Then, we must go into these orders individually and manually change the address to pass USPS address verification - very not automated. :(

Shipstation chat support gave us the workaround solution of tagging Puerto Rico USPS orders, but this tag rule does not work when the customer enters "Puerto Rico" as state (a separate country rule WILL catch when "Puerto Rico" is entered as country).

Anyone have a efficient and effective solution?

Where does FedEx get the company name when none is provided?

My apologies if this seems frivolous but this problem is driving me nuts. I send packages out under two company names and I'd never want both names on any package. Therefore, i have it set up like this under Ship From Locations:

Location 1:
Name: Company A
Company: (blank)
Address: 123 Main St, Anytown, AB, 10001

Location 2:
Name: Company B
Company: (blank)
Address: 123 Main St, Anytown, AB, 10001

The problem is that when shipping with FedEx, it seems like a company name is required, but the company name it pulls is always Company B. If you add a company name to the ship from location, it overrides on the label, but I ship with other services that don't require separate name and company name so I'd prefer to avoid duplicate names.

Does anyone know where the default company name is pulled from when there's no company name in the Ship From Location for FedEx?

I've looked everywhere in my account and my FedEx account, but haven't managed to find this. Thanks!

Pick list and Warehouse Location

Hey gang, should be a quick answer: My pick lists don't show warehouse locations under the heading Warehouse locations (or anywhere else for that matter). I am trying to implement this feature for better organization.

Product inventory management.

I created a warehouse for 'big stuff'
a location in 'big stuff' called 'big stuff' and the Unit/Shelf/Bin all named as, well Unit/Shelf/Bin respectively. Location is clicked as active

Item Test1 is assigned to this location

Pick List Printing Setup is set for: Summarize by SKU, Ordre by Warehouse location then SKU

Pick list does not show any information in Warehouse Location. What am I doing wrong? I've deleted the shipment and readded it as I make warehouse location changes. I've tried deleting and readding products, and I've tried logging in and out.

Is there a template issue, though I don't see that as an option? Is there a dataset issue, and where can I fix where I put the warehouse info?

Any help, advice, or cajoling is appreciated.

Hope to add a hot key to add a tag on the order

We print packing slips one by one and stick them on the box and then scan the barcode to generate the label. But sometimes employees skip or reprint packing slips because there are too many orders. Hope there is a hot key to add a tag so we know we print the slip. We can manually click the add tag button but it is too slow. We use hot keys to process orders and manual click is wasting of time.

Also, we want a smaller packing slip like FBA doing just show the barcode and sku, but shipstation don't have that option, hope developer can add other customized size packing slips for more business needs.

Also, when I click cancel order, the order will remove from awaiting shipment, but when I scan the barcode to search the order, it will still create a label if you hit the ship button. I think if the order is canceled it is not able to create labels and it will fail. It has to be restored first.

Amazon now supports Priority Mail Regional A and Regional B boxes with Amazon Shipping

I received an email from Amazon saying that they have expanded their support in Amazon shipping to allow shipping with these two additional Priority Mail options.

It does not appear to work yet in ShipStation. Would like to make use of these, so is this something ShipStation will have available in a soon-to-be release?

I have a bit of a unique situation I'm looking for a solution for. i am a Canadian who lives on the canada/us border. I ship my Canadian orders via Canada post and American orders through Endicia and walk them over the border and ship via USPS. I am looking for a way to manage all of my orders (canadian and american) with both my etsy and standalone shops. Is there any way this can be done?

Can someone tell me how easy or difficult it is to work shipstation API for importing of orders into another platform (another label maker platform). how long can it take ? Are their any independent developers out there who can do this for us?

printing shipping labels issue

I am printing a shipping label from Shipstation to my Dymo LabelWriter 4XL. I get the PDF screen but the label is sideways and only at the top of the label. When printed it is coming out 2x3" sideways at the top of my 4x6" label. I have walked through changing in both locations to be sure my system is set for the 1744907 4" x 6" shipping label. Please help, this order was to go out yesterday and we couldnt figure it out.

Good morning. So, I have searched the forums and not been able to find how to simply connect within php to ST to retrieve orders.
I understand the concepts I believe but am lost when it comes down to syntax in a php file.

Can anyone chime in here with a very simple php script that will allow me to connect (I have the credentials) to my shipstation, retrieve the orders and get the shipping costs for orders?

Sorry if this has been asked already. I'm about a week into ShipStation and I feel like I'm not fully tapping into its potential.

I would like to just walk into work and open ShipStation with each order filled out with its proper *weight*, *shipping carrier*, and *shipping service* all filled out. What I did try already is filled out each of information under Products > SKU > Shipping, however, it didn't translate to each order this morning.

Can I even do this? Am I looking for too big of a cookie?

Any help would be awesome!

Can't get fedex to work on Shipstation.

An error occurred while attempting to register your account.
Unable to complete FedEx registration. Invalid Billing Address.

Address is to a T perfectly dictated onto ship station. Made many attempts to change any possible snag and nothing. Same error every time.

Shopify custom orders

We do a lot of custom orders in shopify via the "draft" function, where we add on-the-fly custom products. If we select "Requires shipping" will this make the orders shop up in shipstation? Is there a way to default that to on for custom orders in shopify?

Also, is there a way to change this after the fact? I have a bunch of orders in shopify that aren't pulling into shipstation.

Does this report exist?

I am reasonably confident that I am saving money using SS. However, is there anyway to get a report that gives me the savings on each shipment? Or to find it, short of having to create the same label in USPS online and compare? I just shipped a package via USPS priority mail and it appears that I saved almost $5...but I can't be sure. I don't see any way to tell on an order by order basis what I would have paid using USPS online vs using SS. (Or even on a daily or weekly basis).

Any suggestions?

I see chat support has been turned off, but we need an ETA. There are shipments that have to go out today.
