Tracking multiple shipments

I'm still new to Shipstation. We're currently shipping through UPS Worldship and running Shipstation as a parallel system. From Worldship, we can highlight the days shipments and track all of them with a single click. This is very handy when reconciling our shipments to UPS invoices and determining if we have any GSR's (Guaranteed Service Refund). It seems that Shipstation will only track one shipment at a time. Am I missing something? Can all the shipments for a particular day be tracked at once?

somebody has an example of the json payload for the webhooks notifications?

I need tracking information updated in PayPal

I send a lot of PayPal invoices and get paid quite often through PayPal. Please, it's silly that Shipstation cannot upload tracking information. Does anyone have a script that can look at recent shipments and do the paypal update?

Hello

I am looking for a template that will create a custom packing slip that looks like Amazon's packing slips? ShipStation advised that it needs someone with advanced .html knowledge. Anybody here know how or no someone that does?

Thank you!

Anyway to show order count on the packing slip or on the dashboard

I am looking for a way to see very quickly if a customer has ordered from us before.

An order count on the packing slip or on the dashboard would be great.

I know you can hover the mouse over their name and it will show order history, but that is very time consuming.

Thanks

Constantly have to "reinstall" ShipStation Connect to print

I recently started using Connect because I got tired of having to allow SyncStation to work with Chrome.

Unfortunately I have to reinstall Connect once or twice a day because it seems to lose connection with my printer. It gives me a "previously saved printer is not available" warning and the only fix I've found is to reinstall.

Getting pretty old.

Pick List Incorrect

I printed out a pick list this morning and it called for two of a specific item. However, I have only one order for this item and the customer only ordered one. Either there is a second order that I am somehow missing or the pick list is incorrect. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Magento 2.1.6 and Shipstation

We have implemented Shipstation into our custom website running Magento 2.1.6, we can import orders with ease.. but when we mark it as shipped and add a tracking number and label, our customers are not notified of this on our website. We have selected to notify the marketplace.. but it is not notifying them. Any idea how to fix this? Thank you, Adam

How do I apply for a refund if USPS failed to make a timely Express Mail time?

Can anyone tell me how I can apply for a refund for "guaranteed delivery" that was a day late? I used USPS Express Mail and instead of getting there overnight, it took 2 days and my customer was furious.

I have been to 2 post offices, and one told me to bring the receipt in and they will take care of it. When I brought the receipt and tracking number in, another clerk told me that I have to do it through my software. Any know what I have to do?

Packing slip data overlapping

Hopefully this rambling will make perfect sense to someone. I have been working on my packing slips for a few days now and they work perfectly if I have less than 4 items to pack. anything over that and the data spills over into the next page and prints over the next packing slip :/ I really need some help on how to stop this happening. I have attached a JPG o you can see what I'm on about. I have reduced the image size to 50% and the font to 15. These need to stay as this in order to fit in with our picking system.

I have added a few images of the packing slip! I have no idea why it is leaving such a big gap on the items ordered :/

Thank you in advance!

Smart page breaks required

We love being able to print shipping labels and packing slips on the same 8.5x11 page. When there are too many line items on the packing slip, it is cut off and not printed elsewhere. How about making this smarter so that if the packing slip contents are larger than the half-page, it prints on a full page instead, separately from the label? This would save us manually printing each packing slip that has been botched.

The same applies to printing batches of packing slips without labels; if you can print two packing slips per page 95% of the time, it would be nice for the 5% to have smart page breaks and print on a full sheet rather than mashing into each other or being cut off as currently happens.

Both of these have workarounds in terms of manual filtering by the shipper, but for how much effort this would save, it seems worth the development time. Feature request please!!

Way to include number of previous orders on packing slip?

I'd like to have a little number off in the corner of the packing slip that would either tell us how many times the customer has ordered or (even better) the dollar amount they've ordered. I know shipstation has that data but I haven't found a way to include that. Anybody know a way?

Processing Shipments with "Scan To View" doesn't work for me

$

I've been using a barcode setup for our shipping workflow and really love how it works for us so far. The only issue I'm running into is the "Scan to View" barcode on our packslips. When I scan the barcode the order appears as it should, however after this point nothing seems to work properly. I've finally figured out that whichever order is highlighted in the background takes priority. So now when I scan "scale weight" or a barcode for box dimensions it actually is putting them into the order in the background, not the order that I've just scanned the packslip barcode for.

I've tried having no orders selected in the background, but this doesn't help the behavior. The only way I can get the "scan to view" to function for me is if I have the order already highlighted when I scan the barcode on it's packslip. At that point the box dimensions, weight, and shipping service all work as they should. The rate auto updates and I can ship the order. However finding the order before hand renders the scan to view useless as I would just then use the sidebar view.

Does anyone have a solution for this? I can't really have defaults set for products as almost every order is different from one another so weights and box sizes must be scanned for every order.

Voided Packing Slips In Custom Store Integration

We have been running a custom store integration for over a year. Smooth sailing so far, for the most part.

However,

We noticed that when our shipping team creates a label, then for some reason voids the label out and creates a new label, BOTH are sent back to our eCommerce solution via the shipNotify portion of the custom store integration. However, there is no information (that we can find) that indicates one of the tracking information is voided.

This creates a problem because we are forced to display the real tracking information (the one our team actually used) and the voided tracking information back to customers (which doesn't exist). This creates confusion among customers and our internal team.

Is there any way to tell that a shipping label is voided via shipnotify? Or is there anything that our shipping team can do with unused labels so they are NOT sent via shipnotify?

Thanks in advance shippers!

Trying to streamline the shipping process

Hi Everyone, I'm new to shipstation and trying to figure out how best to use all of it's features to my advantage to streamline the pick/pack/ship process. I have a business with over 3000 products and they are all fairly small and inexpensive so every order is different. Our current process is this. Packing slip is printed, then packer takes slip and walk around warehouse to pick the order. The completed order is then put on a shelf for the shipper who takes the order packs it into a box or envelope and then weighs and ships it. Most of our stuff goes into bubble envelopes and goes first class but we also do a lot of priority and UPS. The down side is that we are very seasonal so when we are busy we have a lot of seasonal employees here that aren't as familiar with shipping so they are checking prices to determine what's best. The whole thing is a time consuming process and I know there's a faster way to do all of it but I'm not sure how. A lot of my competitors are doing same day shipping but We're shipping 5-6 days behind. We are also running a Magento store if that helps at all.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Jef

Creating a Return on an order - without a label

Wondering if this can be accomplished? It may sound silly but we can have a scenario where a customer would like to return an item for an exchange (they made a mistake on an order) and will pay for the shipping it back. Before they can ship it out, we have to generate an RMA# for the return - tracking and processing purposes. And later when it gets to use we send them an exchange for free of charge.

This scenario doesn't seem viable in Shipstation today - to generate a return with simple RMA# and no label. It may not have a direct value for a shipping service provider but I think it has a value for order and inventory management.

Queue Automatically failing

We're trying to ship out orders, but when we go to create a label it automatically fails in the label queue and the order shows as "Awaiting Shipment" all the computers are connected to ShipStation. Any idea on what is happening?

Accidentally Canceled WRONG Postage...

I made a label for I two ounce priority package that should have been two pounds - I had to order new postage at the post office today for that package - when I came home to cancel the postage I accidentally canceled the postage on another priority package that in fact went out today so it is in transit - what do I do?

Feature Request - Shipping Address Blacklist

$

With so many people using Shipstation, it would be great if you offered a shipping address blacklist that could alert my staff that we may be shipping an order to a known or suspected scammer address.

We run very tight controls on our credit cards, yet we still occasionally catch a fraudulent order (or several at a time) come through. Often times the addresses used for shipping have been identified by others as known problems for fraudulent orders. It would be great as a Shipstation user that I could flag a fraudulent shipment and share that address with other Shipstation users. It would set Shipstation apart from the competition and save your users a lot of money.

The Blacklist could work very much like it does for emails. One complaint on an address would not be enough to do anything, but multiple different users flagging the same address should then generate a warning flag during the address verification process.

Our most recent attempted fraud was to a New Jersey freight forwarder that specializes in Russian and Ukrainian packages. The total of 3 orders was a little over $1200, luckily we caught it in time. The web is full of people warning not to ship to this New Jersey address without confirmation that you are dealing with real credit card owners.

Perhaps there is already a shipping blacklist maintained on the net that you can take advantage of and help contribute to?

Doing more research on this, you can use Delivery Point Validation to detect if an address is a Commercial Mail Receiving Agency (a "mail drop" that rents mail boxes), or if an address is vacant. http://semaphorecorp.com/cgi/dpv.html This should be very easy for Shipstation to add to the basic address verification look ups you are already doing. Simply flagging these for us would probably cut down a huge amount of the fraud we see.

Shipping Reciept

There needs to be a receipt printed with each label created, whether USPS, Fedex or UPS. So the label is on one half of the page and the all details of the shipment is on the other half of the page that is cut off and saved as a hard copy. This info has all standard info, date, tracking #, customer, etc. EBAY shipping has this layout and it is very useful as everything is printed at the same time and the hard copy can be saved in a file.
