Will the USPS provide a refund on postage for uninsured parcels sent via First Class International if it never gets delivered? I don't expect them to refund the cost of the item since it is uninsured. But this is one of those cases where the postage cost is more than the item.

Express 1 - Priority Mail Express Shipping Receipt
We recently have had a few cases where USPS has not delivered Priority Mail Express Packages within the guaranteed time. The local PO will not refund shipping without an exact amount paid online. Unfortunately, just reprinting the label will not work since the label says "US postage and fee paid" and does not give a dollar amount. I have tried overriding this option on an order specific basis, but this doesn't work after the original label was printed. Can you tell me how i can print an "official" receipt that shows postage paid and the tracking number for Priority Mail Express shipped via Express 1.

Product Variations and SKUs (parent/child SKUs)
Hi all,
Brand new to ShipStation and trialling before committing.
i have several platforms (Magento, Shopify, Woocommerce, amazon, ebay and others) and we're using ShipStaion as kind of a "multiple store aggregator" in that it receives an order from any of the many platforms and passes that info on to our printing system but I can't figure out how to have each product appear as unique SKUs for each variation. What I get now is the base (parent) SKU with the variations (child SKUs) listed in the item description (colour, size, type etc)
Our product SKUs are based on a design that can then be printed on a number of variations (mug, t-shirt, hoodie, etc) that then also have variation iof size and colour. So I might have a design SKU that is DES001 and that is to be printed on a large (L) male short sleeve tee (MSST) in red (REDD) so my SKU (in magento for example) would be DES001LMSSTREDD, but when it comes in to ShipStation all i get as the SKU is "DES001" and the variations are listed in the description.
We have a semi-automated system that receives details of each new order from ShipStation and then selects the design and variations based on the full SKU and creates a job card, but this doesn't work because the full SKU is not being passed on to our automation by ShipStation.
Is there a way to get ShipStation to have the full SKU for each item (thinking Aliases?) and would that mean importing every SKU and creating an alias for it - with the associated problems of having to have a process for new products added over time? Could I tag each new product that is not an already known SKU and have some automated process to fire and tell me to edit the alias before forwarding it to out printing system?

Can I create a Ship From address that does not include the company name?
I'd like to have the ability to ship from a personal address that does not include the company name. However, even when I leave the company name out of the "Ship from" address, it still appears. Is there a trick or workaround?

Rules and Packaging weight
How can i create a one time box weight to be added if a certain item is ordered? I have a product that ships in a special box. Multiple items can ship in the box with it. I see there is a filter for item name, or sku, were i could give that product name or sku a defining marker and have it add weight, but it only applies to single item orders. I need to be able to set it up so that if one of these particular products is ordered it will add the box weight one time. Even if there are multiples of this special item or other items in the order. I know I must just be missing something. Help

I have a really simple business — I wholesale boxes of sandals. A typical order from one of my retailers might be:
(1) box of Size 7
(2) boxes of Size 8
(1) box of Size 9

Total Boxes = (4)
My current process would involve importing the order from my store (TradeGecko), and the "adding" (4) total packages and manually assigning the weight of each package. But the box weights are always the same and (1) box always equals (1) "package."
Is there any way I can create an automation rule that streamlines this process and makes it less manual?

Shipstation importing Issues with Woocommerce 3.0 Update
Since Woocommerce 3.0 came out this week, Shipstation no longer is importing the customers full name, only the last name.
ALSO, it no longer is importing the requested shipping if we manually enter an order.

Advice for aspiring young chef?
This is VERY off topic, but my teen aged son has been wanting to become a chef since he was 4 years old. I saw @stephen@4E215 on here, and wondered if he or other chefs/cooks that use ShipStation would have any advice for my son. He is primarily interested in cooking, more traditional than Continental, but he does enjoy doing some baking and cake decorating as well. He has a birthday coming up, so shameless plugs for your sites are fine, too.
At least with me.
He is the adventurous cook in our house-personally, I'm a picky eater, so that really limits my adventures in cuisine!

Is there anyway I can set-up an automation within Shipstation to import new orders from a particular csv file upon login? The csv would be on my local hard drive and be the only file in the folder all the time (let's say). I've used a few automation tools and I don'y see one that fits this need. I downloaded a SS desktop exe, so I assume this could be done. I'm new and wondering if this exists already.

Using Shipstation for MultiChannel FBA fullfillment
I am having the most difficult time sending orders to Amazon FBA. I keep getting a "seller not set up for basic fulfillment error". I contacted Ship station, who said.. Call Amazon. I contacted Amazon who said.. Call Ship station, the error is on their side. Shipstation is able to sync the inventory count appropriately between Amazon... so why can I send the order for fulfillment? Thanks for the help

Is Working From Home Good?
I saw this infographic (I swear, I love these things too much for my own good) today about working from home and its purported good side effects from CarInsurance.org. I've worked from home twice in my past jobs: one that was a complete failure (time clocks and me don't mesh well), and one that was a raging success (I got so much more done, it was ridiculous). Most of the small businesses I've known have, at least at some point, worked from their own home or workspace they made in their house rather than rent out a space elsewhere. Yet others demand their own studio or office.
So, what's your opinion on it? Is working from home good; does it work? If you haven't telecommuted, treat the question as a "Would you WFH?"

FedEx Collect Ground Billing Option
We are in desperate need of the FedEx Collect Ground billing option. We have thousands of FedEx Office (Kinko's) locations that we ship to daily and they require that billing option for all incoming shipments. My boss wants us to leave Shipstation for ShipRush Web that has that option and their service is free. Many of us prefer so many more of the features, interface and speed of Shipstation, but not sure how much longer I can delay that. Please advise.

Shipstation Not Communicating with BigCommerce
When we try to upload the tracking information into the orders on BigCommerce, it isn't uploading, therefore leaving the order status as still awaiting fulfillment in BigCommerce. Please get back to me regarding why this is & how this can be fixed. Thank you.

Is there anyway I can upload/add/import tracking numbers in bulk?
I don't use AliExpress. I have a supplier. I send them an export of orders from Shopify and they send me same file back with an extra coulmn 'Tracking numbers'. Now Shopify doesn't let you add tracking numbers to orders in bulk. Someone said SHipstation can, so I installed it. But so far no luck. Can anyone guide me how this can be done? I need to add trackings in bulk, so that I can see them 'IN SHOPIFY' when I open my orders there.
