Is there a way to split up an order so that when you ship the customer is reliably sent either 1 email with multiple tracking numbers, or multiple emails with 1 tracking number each?
When we split an order now, the customer is just sent 1 email with 1 tracking number it also includes a fraction of items that the customer has ordered. For example, if the customer orders 20 items, we split the order into 10 items per package, the customer gets 1 email, 1 tracking, number and an email that says we have shipped them 10 items.
So to the customer that receives the shipping confirmation email, it looks like we only sent them a fraction of what they ordered. This wastes a lot of emails back and forth to explain ourselves that in fact we did ship them the full 20 items in 2 packages.
Please help us remedy this.
